This is a clever coin penetration routine using several original moves with an old fashioned aspirin tin. Magician displays an authentic, old fashioned aspirin tin which he claims he picked up at a garage sale, only to discover that it had some magical properties. He demonstrates by placing a nickel in the tin and closing it. He states that the tin simply refuses to accept nickels, and shows this by throwing the nickel out, right thru the tin. Next, he drops a dime into the tin and closes it, rattling the tin so the audience can here the dime inside. He states that the tin dislikes dimes just as much as nickels, and demonstrates as the tin jumps out of his hand, leaving the dime at his fingertips. Finally, he drops a quarter into the tin, which the tin apparently accepts, because when opened, it contains a seltzer-type tablet for his headache. |
