Cards Across

In this Classic effect, the magician counts out 10 red(or blue) backed cards, ties the packet up with a rubber band and hands them to a spectator to hold. He then counts out 10 blue(or red) backed cards, ties them up with a rubber band and hands them to another spectator to hold.

Next, he makes a magic pass to make one of the red(or blue) backed cards jump to the other packet. He does this twice more. Now, taking the red(or blue) backed packet, he removes the rubber band and counts out the cards. There are now only seven. He does the same to the other packet, and now there are thirteen, including three with the opposite color back!

This is Powerfull magic, because it seems to happen right in the spectators' hands!

There are many versions of this trick, and many require sleight of hand. This version works automatically, no skill (other than presentation) required.
