Our goal at Vermont Magic is to present you with magic that is either unique or extremely "classy." You won't find "gags" or practical jokes here, only the finest in magic that we can find or provide ourselves. And, for beginners or the budget minded, we also have a collection of inexpensive "starter" tricks.

And Here's our latest featured effect, offered to you at 15% Off!
The magician displays four cards of the same value, like the eights of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs. He explains that the reason it is so hard to draw four of a kind in a poker game is that cards just don't like to be the same as others. To demonstrate, he collects them into a packet, snaps his finger and shows the cards again...and one of them has turned face down. He repeats the same moves and this time, the first card has righted itself, but now the card of another suit is face down. He repeats this two more times, showing that one at a time, they have all taken turns to be "different" by turning face down.
Next, he explains that it doesn't stop there, and displays the backs of the cards in the same manner, and all four backs have changed color, from red to blue or vice versa. In either case, the backs are those normally found on regular playing cards.
Finally, he explains that sometimes the cards go to extremes to be different, and displays the backs one more time and this time each card has changed into a different, colorful back, something like those shown below!
The cards shown above are only examples. The cards you receive may be different, but all have very different backs. This effect requires a little practice. You need to perform a false count (instructions are included). And, as our current special, it's 15% off the normal price of $7.95. The price, including the cards you need, is
